Data protection and information security are central components of the AZOWO software.
AZOWO uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its hosting provider. The main reasons for choosing AWS were the fulfillment of strict security and compliance requirements and the stability and scalability of the server infrastructure.
AWS holds numerous internationally recognized certifications and accreditations including CSA, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, C5 that demonstrate compliance with the highest data protection and IT security requirements.
Hosting in the EU All customer data are stored at the AWS data center in Frankfurt, Germany. In addition, back-ups are stored in Ireland.
Encryption
Database encryption ("Data at rest"): AZOWO uses industry-typical encryption methods (at least AES-256).
Transport encryption ("Data in transit"): The web interface and the API of the AZOWO software can only be accessed via HTTPS connections. All communication between the end devices and the AZOWO software is encrypted via SSL/TLS.
Modularity Features can be activated or deactivated according to the customer requirements. This ensures that the software adapts ideally to the customer requirements and, at the same time, only captures data that is required for the relevant use case.
